Massive Plans
BIG NEWS!!!!!
Gilly and I have decided to go to Italy in the summer, the really big news is that we are going to drive the whole way there across the Alps in the GT6!
Could be a great trip, could be interesting, any advice on spares?
Does Gilly know about this projected trip across the Alps in the GT6? I would not by any means wish to be pessimistic - but will it actually make it? There, let alone back?

Take a spare electric fuel pump & several feet of zip cord (or whatever you folks call the standard brown 2-conductor lamp cord).
Make sure your rotoflex couplings are new.
I'd take a spare alternator on a very long trip into unknown territory; it's hard to find a replacement on the road these days.
If you don't beat the cr*p out of it, you should be fine. Check the plugs every evening to make sure something's not getting strange in the carbs.
